Cyclops yearbooks, NGAC, 1930
Scope and Contents
The Cyclops yearbook collection comprises three series from 1906-2012, documenting the historical evolution of the North Georga College & State University in Dahlonega, Georgia.
The first series comprises the yearbooks of the initial predecessor institution, North Georgia Agricultural College (NGAC), 1873-1930, offering insights into the early years of the University and its growth. These yearbooks serve as a visual and textual representation of the student activities and academic scholarship that shaped the institution during this period.
The second series focuses on the yearbooks featuring a name change from NGAC to North Georgia College (NGC), 1930-1996. This series continues the historical narrative and showcases the developments and changes over the years.
Finally, the third series continues on, with another name change from NGC to North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU), 1996-2013. This series captures the contemporary campus culture, student life, and academic achievements prior to the 2013 consolidation with Gainesville State College.
Together these three series create a comprehensive yearbook collection of North Georgia College & State University, a predecessor institution to the University of North Georgia.
