This collection contains alumni newsletters and bulletins from Gainesville Junior College, Gainesville College, and Gainesville State College. The collection includes bulletins from 1985-2012. The collection is missing newsletters from 2004.

This collection consists of materials in the Gainesville Junior College Founding scrapbook. Of note are correspondences with the University System and former governor Carl Sanders. There are also resolutions forming the Advisory Committee on Education, bond schedules, and photographs from events held in support of the formation of the school.

This collection contains materials related to the planning of Gainesville State College's 25th Anniversary which was celebrated in 1989. The celebration activities included the creation of a time capsule, a "Celebration Day" and commemorative Coke bottles. Of note are letters of congratulations from state officials, files from the planning committee and a script for "From Cotton Fields to Learning Fields."
